Review: Canon Image Class MF 3110 Scanner, Printer, and Copier

Copiers sever many purposes whether you are using it for personal use at home, or whether it’s going to be at the office. When it comes to what one Is going to fit your needs as well as your budget, the hunt can be difficult and rather time consuming. Canon copiers have come to be some of the most popular ones on the market, and the Canon Image MF 3110 offers the ability to multi-function, all while being compact and smaller in size as opposed to some other copiers. However, he specs of this copier make it a little less desirable, measuring at 14.5x18x18 and weighing a bulky 26.5 pounds, this copier does take up some space, however it offers a sleek design as well as a variety of color choice.

Handling and Quality

As far as the type of paper that is used and also the size, this copier can be a little on the fussy side. This copier currently can handle plain paper, envelope type paper, and A4, letter, and legal sized paper. Documents and pictures that are printed are done so as high resolutions, about 1200×600 dpi. The quality is amazing as well and documents printed are crisp and clear. While not the top of the line copier, it does the job rather well as opposed to other brand copiers. You may notice a small amount of smudging at times, but nothing drastic.

This copier is a great copier to add to the workplace or your home as well. This copier is rather affordable, meaning it can fit anyone’s budget. This multi-function machine gets the job done no matter how big or small it is. It’s is rather compact and will take up about as much space as a standalone copier would.

This copier prints at about 21 ppm, and each sheet is printed in high quality. It has a loader that can hold up to 250 sheets, and comes with a cartridge system that makes replenishing an easy task. You will have to scan each document individually, but this is not really a big deal. The output is great. To add more productivity to your workplace, this copier offers a USB 2.0 High Speed Interface which allows you to get more done, and also offers an external printer server.

However, this copier doesn’t feature and automatic document feeder or a modem for fax, but setup is fast and easy. The design is sleek and perfect for anyone.

Again, this is the perfect copier for a small office. If you run a large workplace, you may want to resort to something a little more higher as this lacks a lot of features. However, it’s perfect for those who won’t be fazing, and who are looking for something to print text on only. Pictures print out, but there will be some minor smudges as well.

Overall it’s a good copier/printer, but for being a laser jet, it could have been a little better.
